Request for Proposals – Residential Development Opportunity
The District of Port Edward is inviting proposals for an exciting residential development opportunity on District-owned lands in Port Edward.
The District is seeking proposals from qualified developers, development teams, builders, investors, non-profit housing organizations, and public-private partnership proponents for the planning, financing, development, and construction of a residential development.
The opportunity is intended to support increased housing supply and housing diversity within Port Edward. The District welcomes a variety of housing concepts, including single-family homes, duplexes, townhouses, row housing, low-rise apartments, rental housing, seniors housing, affordable housing, mixed-tenure developments, and other innovative housing concepts.
The District is also open to a variety of potential development arrangements, including the purchase or long-term lease of the property, development agreements, public-private partnerships, joint ventures, phased land acquisition, and other alternative approaches that provide value to the community.
